Serra Club of San Diego North Coast welcomes you and invites you to learn about
our mission and our ministry.
Serra
International is a global organization of lay Catholic men and women whose
objectives are:
To
foster and promote vocations to the ministerial priesthood in the Catholic
Church as a particular vocation;
To
serve and to support priests in their sacred ministry;
To
encourage and affirm vocations to consecrated religious life in the Catholic
Church; and
To
assist its members to recognize and respond in their own lives to God’s call to
holiness in Jesus Christ and through the Holy Spirit.

Our
vision is to have all people respond to God’s call to their religious vocation.
Our
mission is to foster, affirm and promote vocations to ministry in the Catholic
Church.
About Us
The
Serra Club of San Diego North Coast was
established June 4, 1991. The Serra Club works closely with Bishop Robert H. Brom and the
diocesan office of vocations. In
addition, the Serra Club works closely with the following parish communities in
developing parish vocation activities of prayer, awareness, affirmation and
support.

Meetings
Our Serra Club meets at 8:45 a.m. at St.
Patrick’s Parish Hall on the second Saturday and the fourth Tuesday of every
month. Pot luck breakfasts are served at these meetings.
Current Meeting
Schedule:
Every Friday: Rosary for Vocations
after the 8:15 a.m. Mass at St. Patrick Church, Carlsbad.
First Fridays: Rosary for Vocations
after the 8:00 a.m. Mass at St. John the Evangilist, Encinitas.
Board of Trustees Meeting will be held
at the Kellett residence on March 11 at 7:00 p.m.
General Meeting will be held at Msgr. More Center (3256 Madison Street, Carlsbad) at 8:45 a.m. on March 13 where
a Breakfast Buffet will be available. John
Falco will have a video presentation on “The
Hidden Side of Freemasonry)”. Join

Serra District Retreat at Our Lady of Grace Parish at
2766 Navajo Road, El Cajon, on March 24. Our regularly scheduled Meeting on
March 23 has been cancelled due to the Serra Retreat.

Consider joining us for a complimentary breakfast on the second Saturday on the fourth Tuesday of the month. The members meet at St. Patrick Church in Carlsbad for 8:00 a.m. Mass by starting the day with Jesus. After Mass we go to our meeting at 8:45 a.m. An excellent continental breakfast is served at these meetings.
Membership Benefits
Your Serra
Club's membership provides opportunities to grow, get involved in club
programs, fellowship, leadership development, and prayer. A monthly newsletter is emailed to all
members to keep them aware of current club activities. Club Secretary, James
Smith, publishes the newsletter and it contains many thought provoking articles
and a full calendar of membership activities and opportunities.
